Jeffrey Field

Jeffrey Field-from gopsusports.com
Dedicated on Sept. 29, 1972, Penn State's soccer stadium was named in honor of the late Bill Jeffrey, the Penn State men's soccer coach from 1926-52.

Regarded as one of the finest grass surfaces in the country, Jeffrey Field was refurbished in 1978. New bleachers with a capacity of 3,500 were added along with fencing and an adjacent practice field. New lights were added prior to the 1996 season.

From: pennstatesoccer.com:

In spring 2004, Jeffrey Field was refurbished for a second time. 5,000 new seats have replaced the old bleachers. Also, a new grass surface was installed with a state of the art in-ground drainage and watering system.

With "Little" Jeffrey (men's soccer practice field) located directly next to the stadium, Penn State has one of the finest soccer facilities in the country.
